..... is loud, energetic, and stubborn not unlike his/her father; even possessing a verbal tic, "dattebasa", similar to Naruto's "dattebayo" and his/her paternal grandmother's "(da)ttebane" However, compared to his/her father at his age, ..... is more refined and crafty, seemingly knowing all the shortcuts, as well as more mature in knowing how the world works. Between the two, he/she is the more sarcastic. Unlike Naruto, ... doesn't yell what he/she feels, which is the biggest difference.Despite his/her laid-back attitude, he/she is actually very studious.
.......... was a happy child, eager to please and be worthy of her/his family name. This changed after her/his entire family was killed by Itachi, the person he most admired in the world. He/She became cold toward others, unmoved by and uninterested in what they do or think of her/him, choosing instead to keep to himself/herself. He/she stopped using honourifics like "sensei" or "sama", something considered rude in the Japanese language. His/her only goal in life became to take revenge for his/her family's deaths and, by extension, acquire the power needed for that revenge, even if it meant acquiring an external power that wasn't his/her own.
Despite his/her physical resemblance to Naruto,.... was more perceptive and collected than his/her son as a child; Jiraiya said that .... was a shrewd person, not one to do something without a reason.She/He was well aware of the terror his/her reputation inspired in rival villages and would take advantage of it at times, but even then he/she would remain respectful to opponents. ... also wouldn't pry into other people's personal affairs unless he/she felt it was necessary, and was not the type to hold grudges, only feeling sorry for Tobi (Obito) despite his/her role in his own and Kushina's deaths. If anything, ... blames himself/herself for his/her death for several reasons; he/she couldn't save .... from the fate that corrupted her/him, Konoha from the difficulties that arose after she/he was gone, and even his/her own son Naruto from the painful and difficult life he/she suffered as a jinchūriki orphan.
As an adult, ... typically has a relaxed and almost bored attitude, not prone to getting too worked up about anything or by anyone. Despite his/her increasingly growing reputation and prowess as a ninja, .... has shown no signs of arrogance, and is rather modest about his/her abilities. He/she is habitually tardy, showing up when it suits him/her, using excuses that convince nobody, and later leaving for equally poor reasons. Though ... wants others to believe this is how he/she always acts, he/she only does so for matters that aren't of particular importance.
After he died and was reincarnated, ... discovers that his plans largely failed; Sasuke is not a hero, he did find out the truth about what ... did, and now he aims to destroy Konoha. He then begins to see the flaw in his original plans: he had been trying to manipulate Sasuke rather than be honest with him and trust in his own strength.Acknowledging the mistakes, ... is free to be himself instead of the persona he fabricated, being openly kind to others and displaying a dry sense of humour even in stressful situations.
